Post Workout: Heavy Bag Cardio


 As I mentioned in my last post “Tuesday Motivation: 61 Year Old at the Gym”, this is what my Tuesday afternoons look like. 

 After my morning workout, I rest for about 5 to 6 hours. By rest I mean work as I run a small business. After working I then do some yoga stretches before going into my cardio workout. For cardio, I mainly do the heavy bag as in the video below. But some day I will do shadow boxing, running or biking for one to two hours. 


 After my cardio workout I rest for another 5 to 6 hours before training MMA with my son in the evening. I will post what my Tuesday evenings look like as well. 


 It may seem like a lot of training, but the combination of it all works best for me. The yoga and cardio workouts keep my muscles from tightening up and getting sore. It make my recovery from day to day go smoother. Training with my son can be rough at times. But this is the reason I do what I do. So to be able to be there for him 100%. Thank you for reading.
