Ain’t No Half Stepping
Aside from getting in my morning workouts I also like to try and get in 10,000 steps per day; especially on my days off from training.
Walking 10,000 steps per day alone is not only said to help you: lose weight but will also: improve sleep, decrease hypertension, reduce stress, increase balance and endurance, slow mental decline, improve your mood and fights the effects of depression, reduces fatigue and it helps you think better, clearer, and reduces chances of mental disease because it increases the blood flow through the brain.
Wearing a pedometer watch gives you easy access to your daily step count helping you to form a new healthy habit. It did for me anyway. Occasionally when you have those insanely busy days you’ll crush that 10,000 step mark as I did the day I took the photo for this post. I had hit 18,015 steps by 9 in the morning. A task much easier achieved back home in New York where I am from but still an achievement. Thank you for reading.
