From Niggas to Gods Part One
Ok…this book definitely isn’t for everyone, but everyone should read books. This book was right up my alley. I could really relate to everything in it and it just really challenged my current ways of thinking. I was finishing the first chapter when I stopped and instantly ordered Part Two so it would be on its way as I finished reading through Part One.
I love books that challenge me, my ways of doing things, and my ways of thinking. I also love books where I learn something new. This read had me learning something every chapter and I loved it. It was written in a manner that just resonated with me. As I said it’s not a book that is for everyone. One look at the title and you should instantly know if it’s for you or not.
At the end of the day I am getting in excellent mental workouts. I know all to well how we can get into these routines of doing next to no reading. A majority of people won’t even take the time out to read Terms of Agreements when joining social sites. We get up, go to work, come home and plop in front of the television. Before we know it our brains are as flabby as our bodies. I am speaking from personal experience here when I say taking the time out to read like taking the time out to do some kind of physical activities does make a huge difference. Minimal effort gets you minimal results but the bottom line is, you will see, feel and reap the benefits from those results instantly. Thank you for reading.
