Beet Juice

Beets, carrots, celery, apples and ginger on the rocks.  Let me tell you when I was a kid I hated beets. Who am I kidding I hated beets till like the other day. I don’t remember what possessed me to try juicing beets but I have to say it instantly became my favorite. My wife thinks it tastes like dirt but it doesn’t at all. I mean beets are like a root but the juice is actually really sweet. The drink in the picure is just one of many variations I’ve tried and I like them all.

Juicing beets Improves blood flow, lowers blood pressure, it detoxifies the liver, helps reduce the risk of cancer, helps prevent against Anemia and iron deficiency, helps in building stamina, and enhances skin health just to ramble off a few of the benefits. For all those benefits I would choke it down even if it didn’t taste good. But to me, it is absolutely delicious. It’s great before working out, after or just as beverage anytime time of the day.

Juicing has become a daily thing so I will definitely be posting more on these power drinks as we go along. Just so you know, you can try out juicing using a blender to see if it’s for you before spending money on an actual juicing machine. There’s a little more work involved using a blender but it will give you a good idea what it’s all about. I definitely recommended juicing to everyone. We really enjoy it from making it, to drinking it. Bottoms up!
