Patience Pays Off

I finally scored a bench. I had been searching daily but I just couldn’t find one that was in the price range I was hoping for till now. I got a great deal. For $70 I got a great bench, a bar, about 350 lbs of pig iron with a crate of extras such as dumbbell bars and collars. It was a lot more than I had hoped for so yes, patience paid off big time.

Most benches I came across were double what I paid for this sweet package deal and they came without a bar or weights. Now with a bench and extra dumbbells the garage was really starting to look like a gym. I now have so many more options that are now open. Think about it, the average gym membership costs between 40 and $50 a month. Add the initiation fee and you’re looking at about $66 per month total. Anyone should be able to put together a nice home workout space for less than a years cost of a gym membership. If you give up on the working out, you can always sell it, but I would rather you didn’t.

So March was looking like a really good month for me. I really look forward to breaking in the bench. It had been a really long time since I had used one but I was definitely ready.  Thank you for reading.
