Flava Flav
I have to say, I have yet to come across anyone offering a diet or nutritional guidelines that people didn’t dread. There is most likely some good ones out there I just haven’t seen any that tried to make it fun and enjoyable. I don’t know but I be having fun in the kitchen. I find it relaxing, therapeutic really and just exciting to try out all the new flavors I am discovering.
I don’t know where I came across it but one day I spotted a bell pepper soup online. I am really into peppers so I found it interesting. I bit. I looked up some recipes. I couldn’t find one that totally appealed to me so I combined a couple of them as my foundation. As always I just use recipes to get me started and then freestyle once I am into it.
I had an array of peppers in the fridge already and I decided to use a bit of all of them. I had no idea how it would turn out. I like peppers but pepper soup? I threw in some onions and fresh garlic of course a couple bouillon and let me tell you, the end results were absolutely delicious. It was much better than I had imagined that’s for sure. It had so much flavor my taste buds didn’t even know how to act, they were break dancing.
I had a blast making the soup. I enjoyed the soup for a couple of days and yes it was even better the next days. To top it all off it was super healthy. I was one that always instantly thought of healthy food, meals as being boring and tasteless but it’s the complete opposite when you are open to explore and try different things. I season to taste not following any recipe to the letter which is half the fun and yes most often times than not it turns out very delicious. How many calories? Who cares when you know that it is jam packed with health benefits. When your food contains as many health benefits as pepper soup, going for seconds is highly recommended. Try it, you’ll it! Thank you for reading.
